A GRAM OF HISTORY

Camden Apothecary is located adjacent to the historic Bell Pharmacy, which was founded in 1931. The pharmacy (then named Bell Drug Company) dispensed cannabis until its sale was prohibited by the federal government in 1937. Camden Apothecary at Bell Pharmacy is the only dispensary in the nation to have sold cannabis both before and after its prohibition. So, yeah...we've been at this for a while.

Today, we continue to offer one-of-a-kind products and services. For example, our Bud Bar allows guests to inspect a sample of flower from the exact batch from which they purchase, not unlike a fine cigar or wine. Additionally, we can convert any flower to a "live rosin" form. Rosin retains all the qualities (taste, smell, potency) of flower, but can be consumed without needing to inhale substances generated from smoking. It's 100% organic and requires no chemicals. We are the only dispensary to offer this.

AN INFORMED APPROACH

For individuals concurrently using other medications, Camden Apothecary offers thorough drug interaction assessments conducted by trained pharmacy staff members. These evaluations can identify interactions between cannabis and a patient’s current medications, thus ensuring optimal cannabis recommendations that reduce the chance of experiencing adverse effects.
