Family-owned and operated, Camden Apothecary marks a return to Bell Rexall Pharmacy’s origins. Founded in 1931, the pharmacy (then named Bell Drug Company) dispensed cannabis until its sale was prohibited by the federal government in 1937. Camden Apothecary at Bell Pharmacy is the only dispensary in the nation to have sold cannabis both before and after its prohibition.
